Hi! I'm Erika, the founder of Unorthodox Couture.
I didn't start this company because I wanted to sell products.
I started it because I kept envisioning things that I wished exsisted-but just couldn't find.
As a sports Mom, I know what it's like to spend countless hours in the stands/auditorium cheering on the people you love the most. I believe every athlete deserves a crowd.
Every design, whether for family or teammates, is made to celebrate the athletes who work hard long before everyone notices.
I also believe what we wear can say the thinsg we sometimes can't say outloud. Some of my designs are funny, some bold, some encouraging, and some simply speak our minds. Clothing is more than fabric- it's a way to express who we are, what we believe, and the people and moments that matter most.
My passion for creating didn't stop with apparel. Like so many families, mine has dealt with allergies and sensitive skin. I was frustrated that truly nourishing, coconut free soaps were so difficult to find. So I decided to make them myself. Every bar is handcrafted with carefully selected ingredients to create luxurious, skin-loving products that people with coconut allergies who still want something all natural, don't have to second-guess.
I fell in love with candle making because scent has an incredible way of telling a story. A single fragrance acn instantly take you back to Grandma's kitchen, a cozy cabin, a Christmas morning, a beach vacation, or another moment you never want to forget. My goal is to create candles that don't just smell amazing- they help you relive the memories that make a house feel like home.
At its heart, Unorthodox Couture is about creating meaningful products with purpose. Whether it's a shirt that makes you laugh, a swetshir that lets you proudly support your favorite athlete, a soap made with ingredients your family can trust, or a candle that takes you home, everything is designed with intention.
